my thoughts about the hunger artist

I think that he was out of his mine because no body fasts 40 days for no reason. I think that he killed himself because no body fasts 40 days in any religion. If he didn't fast because of his religion then why he had to fast 40 days then, and if he was sick then why didn't he get treatment.

Journal

I think this helps and hurts the novel at the same time. It kind of helps because we get to know more about the characters, their behavior and how they think. We would also get to know more about their personalities. I think it also hurts the novel because their point of view changes and that is not something we are used to which makes the novel boring. It also makes the novel a book that was written by not only one person but a lot of different people, so you would think the novel has no author only person but the story together. I think the novel is good with only one point of view so you can get used only thing when you are reading through out the novel.

I think Ursule Mirouet means a lot to them because they didn't read any books for along time since the re-education system started. He gave to them because four eyes thought this has a profound effect on their lives. He also gave to them because they haven't read any other cultures about different cultures. four eyes knew these were going to change them because one of his parents was a writer and the other was poet. This book is significant to the meaning of the novel because the novel has something to do with Balzac because the title of the novel is BALZAC AND THE LITTLE CHINESE SEAMSTRESS.

story tellers

I don't think there is a place for storytellers in the worl right now because a lot of thindgs have changed. There used be a place for storytellers when there were no books and no movies. i think people changed storiess in to books and movies because there are no people that are actualy going to sit and listen to a story for hours without actions and nothing else happening in the story. People in these days got used to reading books and watching movise instead of listening to the actual story. I believe there are story tellers in the world but i think people change there stories in to books and to movies and plays so they can make it more interesting to people.

King of masks

I learned a lot about Chine when i watched that movie. It kind of opened a whole new door for me to a different culture. I felt sorry for that little girl because she had no family at first and she was adopted by the king of masks he thought she was a boy and after a while he found out she wasn't a boy. The king of masks always wished for a son he decided to leave her but she liked him because she had no any other family. The little girl knew the king always wished for a son she found a little boy and brought him to the king's house. The little girl was smart but what she didn't was that woulg get the king in trouble, he got locked up and she fought for him to come out of jail and she finally got him out with some help from somebody else. I think she was very smart but it was kind of late when the king found that out.
